Our History
Committed to Making a Difference
The idea for the organization began in 2001, when Sister Cynthia Edwards noticed a declining emphasis on common courtesy and etiquette among her children's peers. Inspired to address this, the ministry was placed in her heart. In June 2007, YLTT was officially founded.
Initially, we welcomed girls aged 8 to 13, establishing a curriculum designed to provide a safe space and support the whole person through etiquette training.
Since that first meeting, we have grown significantly. Today, our network includes dedicated mentors, alumni, and community and church leaders, allowing us to expand our programming and support for young girls, ages 8 to 18. This work would be impossible without their support, and we are truly thankful for everyone involved
Vision
Our vision is to nurture and strengthen the character of young ladies through outreach, empowering them to become confident leaders, and become great citizens of the world. As they grow into young women, they will carry forward the knowledge, values, and relationships gained through our program, using those experiences to make a positive impact and enrich their communities.
Meet the Leaders
Meet the women that make it possible
